HUGE VESSEL TRAVELS ON THE EXPANDED
CANAL AND BREAKS RECORD
Jorge Luis Quijano, administrator of
the ACP said that the huge vessel with capacity for 13,435 TEU's will break the
record as the one with the highest cargo volume in transit for the third set of
locks.

On Tuesday, COSCO Development, a vessel
with greater capacity and size, has transited the Expanded Channel, as reported
by the Panama Canal Authority through its Twitter account.
Jorge Luis Quijano, administrator of
the ACP declared the huge vessel with capacity for 13,435 TEU's will break
record as the one with the highest cargo volume in transit for the third set of
locks.
He added that if the containers are
placed in line with the Cosco Development, would cover from the Bridge of the
Americas, to the entrance of El Valle.
This mega-boat measures 366 meters in
length (long) and 48.2 meters in length (wide).
